President Barack Obama flies into the Mile High City today to sign a historic $787 billion economic stimulus bill at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Obama is scheduled to arrive this morning at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora. The Rocky's Judi Villa, Jerd Smith and Roger Fillion are blogging live.

My predictions are that he will sign it after or shortly before the markets close(when they have a usual daily uptick by people trying to buy low).

The wind is blowing like stink out here today. Methinks he had an uncomfortable ride in!
I wish he would try to sign it outside, no one would be able to hear over the wind, and maybe the dratted thing would blow away before he could affix his signature.

Why fly in to Denver to sign this atrocity? I don't get it. Symbolic value? The Mile High city for a Mile High pile of pork? Besides, he needed to get out of the White House and take a break.
