Folks, it’s not about whether there are any viable cures in the works from embryonic stem cells.

Putting restrictions on embryonic research places human/moral value on embryos, and that’s what this is about.

Any moral value put on embryos is a slippery slope to tweaking a “had-abort”’s conscience with “you killed a baby!”

You pretty much nailed it. If the precedent is set so that the value of nascent human life is upheld, what does it say about those who voluntarily abort fetuses at any stage of development?

The healings are coming from adult stem cells. The embryonic stem cell research is not coming out favorably.
