In her new book, does Ann Coulter actually defend a white supremacist hate group, claiming they’ve been unfairly branded as “racist?”
Unfortunately, she really does. I’m not taking the Southern Poverty Law Center’s word for it, either; I have the book and I’ve confirmed that everything they say in this article is accurate.

Now, I know many of you don't like Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs (BTW, I do even though I sometimes don't agree with him).
OK. So, forgetting the sources:
Did anyone read her book? I haven't read it yet.
Did she really defend the CCC?
Is Mr. Johnson right or wrong? I sure hope he's wrong on this.
I have it, but I’ve been keeping the covers together until I leave for vacation next Friday. I have a date with “Guilty” as well as another (ahem) guilty pleasure, a strawberry daquari. ;-)
LGF used to be a good blog too. Sad.
I too am looking forward to reading it. I just need to get a hold of it.
I have been suspicious of Johnson and LGF ever since 9/11. He has always seemed profoundly egotistical, arrogant, and unprincipled to me. Lately he has begun to more explicitly reveal his true colors. He hates religion and he hates conservatives. He is poison to our cause.
I haven’t read it, but the Southern Poverty Law Center certainly is not a reliable source. They are Communist liars and troublemakers of the worst kind.
I don’t know anything about the CCC. I just looked at the Wikipedia article, and they seem to be white separationists, who want to exclude non-white immigrants.
I can’t say that I agree with that, but I’m also not so sure why it’s OK to be a black separatist and race baiter but not a white separatist. If one is wrong, then so is the other. Obama is a racist if there ever was one, but evidently that’s OK since he’s not a white racist but a self-annointed black racist.
I haven’t read Ann’s book, so that’s all I can say.
I find it odd that he doesn’t quote the passages of the book in the blog.

I agree completely. I do think the CCC is racist and true conservatives should run away from them as fast as they can.
The best thing to do is to go take a look at the CCC website. I just did & it doesn’t look off-putting at first. There is an ad for a white pride t-shirt, but if black pride shirts are okay, there shouldn’t be an issue. I did check out a link to something called the Kinsmen.net. They do appear to be white racists. I read Guilty & found it to be quite enjoyable. Maybe Ann has met the more moderate members of this group & hasn’t really looked into them.
LGF has provided useful links since 9/11 and still does. Johnson has always been a problem. It just shows how terribly wrongheaded so many Americans are that Johnson deserves and gets so much credit merely for not despising Israel and for understanding that Islam is a threat. Beyond that the man is a real threat to conservatism.

I think Charles obsesses over certain topics (many of us do). But has he gone to the dark side? I don’t think so.
First thing I saw on that link was an ad for “White Pride, save our culture” T-shirts. I think they be a bit out there. But I’ll keep looking.

in their Statement of Principles, they clearly state they are opposed to “integration of the races” among other things.
Most of the rest of their agenda that i saw is in accord with normal conservative values, but for the race thing.
they appear intent on reporting black on white crime. As Ann wrote, ““Apart from some aggressive reporting on black-on-white crimes — the very crimes that are aggressively hidden by the establishment media — “
the latter part of this sentence could be expanded to include volumes. It’s all part of the MSM’s agenda.
I believe that Johnson is actively and deliberately seeking to undermine conservatism.
It's not really that, it's more that Charles is militantly pro-Jewish, and will not tolerate any organization which is tolerant of any anti-Semite elements. This makes him throw European anti-Islamic organizations like Vlaams Belang under the bus.
The problem is that it's real hard to find anti-Islamism organizations which are pure enough to suit Charles.
