This race has always been a good idea. It packs and sets up the trail for the Iditarod Dog Sled Race coming up about 2 weeks.
I miss the lifestyle in the Great land. There were seasons to celebrate, not just survive. Under the coming mess that Obama has created, I also see Alaska seceding from the Union. These people have way too much spirit, pride and patriotic fortitude to tolerate what is coming for this nation.
Their population has been watered down by Liberals, but the nature of the land and the climate sends most of them back to the lower 48 with their tails between their legs. The true Alaskans, dig in and live off what the land provides for them. I really do miss that way of life.

I’d like to give this race a try. Sounds like fun....
It would be just like racing in the Lonesome Pine Enduro, only it would be cold, snowy, 10 times longer, and on a snowmobile.... :-)
