How can one man's meat so hugely another man's poison? It as if we are separate species...White House feeling invigorated by stimulus win...for those of us here it is the most dismal of tyrannical sledgehammers.

There's an enormity to what's happened so far," said one of the White House aides. "It's hard work, but it's worth it. We're sprinting."

He’s got to run as fast as he can because he will lose his majority party in two years.

I wish this new administration had some answers. It seems like more interventionist strategies that landed us in this mess to begin with.

Well, if the government doesn’t do it, who will? The government has all the smartest people in it, right?

I believe it started with the Democrats like Barney Frank and his group forcing banks to make bad loans ... some argue it goes back to either Carter or later with Clinton ... the Democrats have their finger prints all over this mess.

Bush can take some credit for these strategies in attempting to fix it. The housing bubble is a major issue. It was irresponsible to allow people to purchase homes they could not afford.

“It’s hard work”

It’s hard work being Pelosi’s boy toy.

Gee, it was so hard to convince the Democratic majorities to spend a trillion dollars.

Poor Obama baby had to fly around in Air Force One and hand out welfare checks. Hope he gets a vacation soon.

[”There’s an enormity to what’s happened so far,”]

Wow, they’ve got majorities in both the House and the Senate and this is a HUGH victory for them.

It’s a terrible loss for the country formerly known as American but who cares? Not the dims, not president 0...

Time to lock’n’load boys and girls. They are going to make things really bad really fast and they’ll be coming for us, mark my words.

True, I was upset with Bush when he signed that last “stimulus” package - as for people buying homes they couldn’t afford they should have known they couldn’t pay for it ... I guess the banks had no choice .... if you were breathing and came into the bank on your own you had a house ...
