Now watch all those reporters and journalists who praised and bronzed him to spit and ridicule him.

Bingo.

This is like thanking a robber who felt guilty ridden before he drove away, and tossed the money out the window to you.

Me, I’m still noting that license plate and still calling the cops.

“However, it has become apparent during this process that this will not work for me as I have found that on issues such as the stimulus package and the Census, there are irresolvable conflicts for me. Prior to accepting this post, we had discussed these and other potential differences, but unfortunately we did not adequately focus on these concerns. We are functioning from a different set of views on many critical items of policy.”

Can someone go down and tatoo this on the foreheads of Sphincter, Snowejob and TooManyTomCollins? Can they REALLY not be reached???

Seriously, WTF, are they stupid, ambitious, blind, greedy, messianic,...all of the above...WTF...I really don’t get it...Gregg went in there and got freaked out, do they not see this? Just a big fat WTF...I can not believe they can still go forward...just ONE of them pulling out shoots this down, now that Big Head Ted is down...

What I’ve learned in life is, when faced with any kind of decision, is to simply always do the right thing.

It’s usually an obvious choice, if not an easy one.

This is a real example of a Profile in Courage. We have hope as long as we have people in the Republican party who will stand up for our beliefs.

Kudlow, give me a break. It amazes me that these talking-head types are so clueless.
Judd is an idiot; I have no respect for him. He acts like this came out of the blue and he had no idea...what a naive idiot!!

Yes! I have this quote on my white board at work:

“If you have integrity, nothing else matters.
If you don’t have integrity, nothing else matters.”
-Alan Simpson

This is so true! Maybe a few folks in DC should have to memorize this one...

Does he have any brothers or sisters who’d be willing to relocate to Illinois?

If not, maybe Thune does. We could sure use senatorial representation here in Illinois. Unfortunately, the likes of Durbin and Burris keep running their ineptitudes through Cook County.

This does not pass the smell test. Why was his name in the hopper in the first place?

I beg to differ. I can’t imagine what he was thinking when he accepted Obama’s offer, but at least he didn’t wait until it was too late to recognize the mistake and to correct it. Imagine the relief he felt after stepping up to do the right thing which he did yesterday (and is planning to do today voting against the Porkulus Bill).

But I will also differ with Larry Kudlow: Senator Gregg is a few steps behind Governor Mark Sanford when it comes to political courage and being forthright in expressing his views. And he’s the one to watch for the next Presidential outing.

Funny stuff. MSNBC’s commies were calling this guy worse names than Benedict Arnold. Hell hath no fury like a leftie scorned.

Then what was he doing in an Obama administration in the first place?

Judd needs to come out and state loudly that he wasn’t begging for the job as the Left-Wing Media and Obama is exclaiming!

He needs to state that he was approached and by whom (Emanual??).

On the other hand if he did do the approaching, shame on him!

Gregg fell into the “hope and change” tripe from a two-bit community organizer whose only core value is redistributing income. He should have know that the role of Commerce Secretary in this administration would be more like Comrade Secretary and yet he ASKED for the position.

A naive stooge.
