Wow. Just getting ready to go to bed and I had to check FR one more time. Very sad. Prayers up for comfort to the victim’s families.
Continental from Newark with 48 passengers. I doubt there will be survivors.
=(
So sad. Prayers will be said.
If there are any survivors, it will be a miracle. RIP.
Supposed to be flight 3407 operated by Hogan air as Continental Express.

DASH variant, Q400, was apparently the aircraft. Turboprop. Ice, freezing rain reported.
Very sad. Prayers up for all.
Heavy, heavy winds predicted for that neck of the woods earlier today.
Wonder if it had anything to do with it.
(But lemme add, I grew up in upstate NY, those people know how to deal with weather, like when your nose freezes for three days straight)
RIP and prayers for families and loved ones......
Oh dear. That plane crashed in the river not long ago, but at least everyone is ok. It’s sad to hear that people are hurt and lives are lost. All we can do is pray.
I was on a plane coming into Buffalo over the Clarence approach...we were buffeted by wind pretty good.
Colgan air 70 seater operates for Continental asContinental Express. Its a turbo prop. Sounds like ther may have been a problem with icing.
How horrible... prayers for all involved and for their families and friends...
Original FReep post was 40 minutes before ABC cut in with breaking news story. FReep Rocks!
Colgan makes more sense. Found the story, but couldn’t find any evidence of “hogan” air. Here’s the press release from Colgan Air.
