U.S. Senate Republicans are not planning to try and use procedural maneuvers to delay passage of a proposed $789 billion economic stimulus bill, the party's leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, said on Wednesday.
McConnell said there was a widespread feeling in the minority party that they "ought to vote and move on." He spoke after congressional negotiators said they had reached a deal on the massive package of spending and tax cuts to try and rescue the flailing economy.

And the Senate cast out of his mouth financial "stimulus" as a flood after the woman, that it might cause her to be carried away of the stimulus package.
And the internet helped the woman, and the world wide web opened her mouth, and swallowed up the lies which the Congress cast out of its mouth.
And the Demoncrat Congress and RINOs were wroth with the woman, and went to make war with her children and grandchildren, who listen to their fiscally responsible parents, and have the testimony of truth.

It is going to take way more than 3 republican (?) votes for this to make it bipartisan. If the house republicans can hold together and the senate with only 3 rinos voting for it, it will be the great 0bama/Pelosi/Reid Democrat bill. They will wear it and if the republicans don’t hang this around their necks then truly all is lost.

Geithner was asked the question today - “Where are you getting the money? Are you printing it or borrowing it?” I don’t remember who asked the question. He didn’t hesitate but said, “We are borrowing it.” The questioner asked, “Who is buying the paper?” Geithner said, “We will sell it to people who want to buy it” or some equally dumb reply.

Gaffer, you’re not alone...the feeling is the same here and there are thousands, maybe millions that are just like us. I suspect it won’t be long and the fight will come to our doorsteps. They cannot just “leave us alone”. Yes, They WILL come and be ready for em when they do. We old folks now have nothing else left to lose....might as well fight. Better to die on one’s feet, then to beg on one’s knees.

As minority leaders, Reid and Daschle used to screw with the republican agenda and legislation at every turn with parliamentary moves. Not returning the favor would be outrageous!
I was hoping the Republican representatives and senators had learned their lesson and were now going to fight to the end for the principles they are ‘suppose’ to belief in.
If they cave, it will be the worse mistake they have ever made for this Country.
I have called and sent emails, I am just not sure what we can do now to try and turn the tables if our representatives think this is not worth a fight.

Bought it in the ‘60’s and have read it over and over but now at a much advanced age will have to go for the paperback and a magnifying glass - book is much too large and heavy to hold up at nap time. Recommended reading for everyone!!!!
