JERUSALEM Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu has declared victory in Tuesday's parliamentary election. Netanyahu told his supporters in a speech early Wednesday that he was proud of the gains by his hardline party. Exit polls show Likud coming in second, but in a better position to lead a coalition government because of a strong showing by other nationalist parties.

Everybody seems to have steped to the right:
Left-wing Labor voters went Centrist (Kadima)
Many Kadima voters moved to Rightist Likud,
And a bunch of Likud voters went to the hard right Beitenu.
Livni is in good position, but it’s only because the Left collapsed. So,over all, still good. She will have to negotiate with the right in order to build a majority.

Thank you for that intelligent response. I appreciate it as I was not at all familiar with how their system worked. Interesting to say the least but...if it means Bibi has been victorious...I am all for it. :)

Since Charles de Gaulle was trapped by the illuminati in May 1968, Lieberman is only the third politician to lead a party not controlled by the illuminati into the situation where the other main parties controlled by the illuminati MUST form a coalition in order to continue to rule.

Israeli elections have been subject to outside interference. I think that Netanyahu is a leader who does know what is really going on. George Mitchell is there to divide Jerusalem, and to trick the Israelis.

Oh, I hope you are right! Oh, how Israel needs Netanyahu.
I have prayed that Netanyahu will answer the call of Israel to him. Israel does not need some one as “wishy washie” as Livini. She may be a nice lady, but she is not what Israel needs right now. She lacks inner strength.

Please let Bibi be the clear winner! At least with him, Israel has a fighting chance. Livni will speed up Olmert’s selling of Israel down the river.

Agreed! Draft Bibi!
As someone else pointed out in another post, apparantly, being a US citizen no longer matters, so why not?!?

And it shows that notwithstanding Kadima's victory claims, and its leader Tzipi Livni's insistence that the people of Israel have given her their backing, Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu can reasonably hope to build a narrow coalition majority with "natural" allies, and she cannot. This puts Netanyahu firmly in the driving seat on the road to becoming prime minister. And it places Livni - even though she led her party to far greater success than some of its own optimists had anticipated, and thus cemented her leadership hold - in the back seat. He can probably block her; she probably can't block him.

"Yay, Bibi!! And for purely female superficial reasons, hes a good looking guy, too!" I ABSOLUTELY agree!!! And, what a great voice he has - I love listening to him speak.
