Nevada City, CA -- The parents of a 12-year-old girl have filed a lawsuit against a California school district after local school officials forced their daughter to submit to a pregnancy test. Attorneys with the Pacific Justice Institute are representing the student and her parents, who had no knowledge of the test.

When it comes to school, there’s no place like home.

Negative. And it doesn’t matter. The school had no right to do it without parents permission.

don’t worry. Parents will have no rights soon and schools might even have their own abortion clinics in them under O

I’ll even bet the FOCA will put condoms and abortive drugs in parochial school nurses offices too.

private schools will have to follow the same rules under O

Were the school officials worried about what one of the teachers may have tuaght her?
To: Badeye

Good grief. If I actually read the articles I’d never get any comments made.

Nope, I’ve got more important things on my mind, so I just asked the question knowing a freeper would answer.

I am just as bothered by the fact these kids are rolling over for the school. Don't parents teach their kids to have a brain and stand up for themselves.
If this had happened to my daughter, she would have told them straight out "NO. Now call my mom or I'll do it."

I thank God I only have a year left with public schools. And if my kids can keep me from being a grandfather for a few years I might get a decade of peace.
To: julieee
It wouldn’t surprise me if this is true, but it would also not surprise me to find out the girl is lying. So, this doesn’t surprise me.

You think that was bad, here in Texas our “Republican” governor attempt to shoot us all of the 12 year olds with some drug, so that they could have unlimited sex.
...and he still thinks he deserves re-election.

Superintendent Roger Steel responded to the suit and told KCRA-TV that, "There is no merit in the claim," and referred further questions to the school district's attorney. Please tell me a jerk, like this, is not the superintendent? Come on, can any one be this stupid?

Why don’t parents tell their children not to obey school officials if they feel uncomfortable about doing so? Certain things are off limit. Let the parents sort it out with the school. Just say NO. What is the school going to do, hold a gun to the kid’s head?
