Selling bullets may be the most secure job in Florida as long as supplies last.

After months of heavy buying, gun dealers across the state are experiencing shortages.

Some say it began with the election of President Barack Obama. Others say it's about the economic downturn or fear of crime. Whatever the reasons, ammunition has been selling like plywood and bottled water in the days before a hurricane.

Time to stock up on re-loading supplies.

Because as we all know:

Guns don't kill people, it's those little hard things that come out of em' that kill people.

There’s no connection here.

It’s just coincidence.

Online, you can hardly find any of certain calibers.
Found some in a local shop, but it’s about 30% higher than it was last year.

My local Walmart was out of 12 ga buckshot, 9mm, and .38 cal by the end of November. When I checked last week they still had some bird shot, plenty of .22 cal and 30-06, but no .308. They akso had plenty of .45 cal; that is until I got there.

they probably mean ammo.

when I buy bullets, I load them into cases to make ammo.

typical MSM being blind to the facts.

Fleet Farm suck. They want you to fill out forms in triplicate to buy a box of ammo from them.

at least they do in MN. Does Wal-mart do this?

Good luck. Components are scarce too. Primers in particular. I even had trouble getting powder for reloading .410 shotshells... not the most high demand item.

Some say the thug’s getting elected.
Some say the upswing in crime.
Some say the economic wreck.

So, what, those are separate events?

Have been to three wal-marts, 2 sports authorities and a dicks.

Cannot get 380 hollow point or 38 special hp anywhere. None of those companies are expecting any new stock. Period.
