Anyone have an idea of what happens now? A tentative schedule? Do they conference with the House? Do we have a few days before it is signed?

I believe it now goes back to the House. No hope there though, unless DEMONcrats come to their senses.

Roughly ...
- House and Senate meet in conference committee (GOP could block the naming of conferees, but won't)
- A conference report emerges from the conference committee - probably in 1-3 days
- Each chamber takes up the conference committee report, usually one chamber goes first in case there are amendments to the conference report
- After both chambers pass identical language, the bill is enrolled, endorsed, and presented to the president

It goes to the house so they can add back in the pork that was deleted, and they will sneak in even more.
The GOP congress critters have the power to delay and force the liberals to some concessions, but they choose no to.
