I miss Sarah. I hope she does a terrific job for Alaska now that the price of oil has dropped. That’ll put her in great shape for the next time.

Um, sorry guys, but Sarah Palin is her own party, and does not need the bad reputation of the Republicans to slow her down, not that it would matter much. The Republicans, btw, have have sold their voters out time and time again and are in the process of doing it again and it will never change. The Republican party is dead and the conservatives are just waiting for a new party. I wish Palin would start a new party in order to drop the name Republican, because that party is D-E-A-D and this stimulus bill proved it.

Ping?
************************
Thanks so much for the "ping", Sarge. That title was somewhat misleading- the article makes clear that her efforts were to reform her party- not turn on it.
Two quotes jumped out:
1. "One of the most offensive things, Palin said, was realizing why they thought I was [on the commission]. They thought I'd be a good soldier and try to climb the political ladder.
Hopefully, she realizes that those Washingtonians and those Alfalfa's expect her to be the "good soldier" also--- and she'll distance herself. They are in fact the very enemies that she has to call out and defeat.
2. "Sometimes I haven't a clue...why I remain passionate about wanting to change the world through Alaskan politics.
If she lives another 100 years, she'll never have another opportunity like the present to be the leader of an historic movement to bring down American socialism-- as Reagan toppled communism. She just as the seize the moment, and get on message.
It's all tall order--but the rewards are great.
Thanks again for the consideration, Sarge.

I don't think its dead. WE can thank Bush and Rove for saving Arlene ‘s leftist ass in the 2004 primary and allowing the GOP to trashed for 8 years !
We are rebuilding after those two allowed the GOP to be trashed 24/7 with not a single counter attack by these fools that gave us the stupid New Tone strategy ! Arlene is toast in two years . Start pushing Tuomey or Swann NOW !

There’s nobody more vicious when it comes to ripping a female apart, than another female.
It’s a vicious thing to watch, while the lady rips clothing choices, hair decisions, colors, patterns, styles, shoes, belts, scarves, dresses, glasses, perfume, mannerisms... to shreds for no apparent reason other then they just don’t like the other lady.
Palin, in the eyes of the fruitcake left, made a big mistake when she voiced her personal views on matters, the leftist didn’t want discussed in that manner.
To me, Palin is a hero of sorts. She may not say what others want to hear, but she does say what is truth to her. If folks choose to disagree with her, so be it. At least they have that opportunity.
The left in our nation from the President on down, lie constantly. The MSM lies, foists off propaganda. The Democrat party lies.
These three entities cannot tell the truth, because they couldn’t get their agenda approved if the public understood half of what the implications were.
And they give Sarah a hard time. I guess it sucks when your view isn’t the only view by law.

Republican stalwarts just don't know what to do with Palin, Shea said. She's too independent for them. All they can do is attack her - and make themselves look like bullies in the process. A very prescient article, considering how high Governor Palin actually flew in 2008, which highlights exactly why both the GOP RINO establishment and the libs fear her so much. The article's title is misleading, since it concerns Alaska' CORRUPT Murkowski-led Republican Party, but might as well include the National GOP as well, looking forward to 2012.

I was living in Alaska and closely following the race at the time of the Gov Primary and the events described in the article.
It is very accurate and not misleading.
Please don't take that as support for this blogger; but this article is very accurate.
