Hey there - it’s about time you came back :) Missed you - I do spend a lot of time on twitter these days.

Horrible day yesterday just horrible, I can’t believe this POS was allowed to remain in the Army. I keep thinking they are at fault as much as the shooter for all these deaths.

Female officer went in and confronted this scum by herself as there wasn’t time to wait for backup - God speed to her recovery.

There were some jerks on twitter upon hearing this POS name were trying to defend him already - it’s so maddening that people are so damn stupid these days!!! I asked them if they thought he was Amish or ???? What?

I thought at first it might be a multiple base attack on our country by terrorists never once thinking it would be one of their own.

Also, quite troubling is the easy access on Google of the overview of Ft Hood!!! Then, they said flyover was denied at this time - at this time?? Shouldn’t military bases always be no fly - I thought they were.

ABC appears to be making excuses for this POS - saying could be suffering from stress.

Although they did mention he gave away copies of his Koran among other belongings recently.

Diane says someone mentioned they wish his name was Smith?????????? Idiots!!!

Now they’re playing cousins interview with Shep about how wonderful he is and is a great American, was being harassed - blah blah whine blah excuse blah

I listened to AIR AMERICA for almost a full hour late Thursday night.

I encourage you to do so.

WHY?

Because one hour of Nicole Sandler, who went on & on & on & on & on about "this poooooor guy" and "can you imagine how he had to listen to all those soldiers tell him everything about Iraq & Afghanistan, day after day after day after day??"

Seriously, after 30 minutes of this, your blood pressure will plummet.

Why?

Because it has too, it's too dangerous a time to indulge in emotional reactions to Twittering Idiots.

We are living in a fragmented society where different groups of people are holding dangerously disparate views and interpretations of REALITY.

Online chatboards and cellphone tweets, not even FOX News or CNN convey the DANGEROUS nature of the society we live in... but listening to AIR AMERICA does.

If you don't have a radio, it must be streamed online somewhere, and if you really can't listen to a midnight gal like Nicole Sandler, then make a point of watching and CAREFULLY LISTENING to Chris Matthews on MSNBC's HARDBALL - which is broadcast in the late afternoon and replayed in the early evening.

Don't bother screaming at Chris -- LISTEN to him for a full week, for the full hour each time,

He represents the views & outlook of at least 30% of the citizenry around you.

These are dangerous times, and although they may look, at first glance, like the 1930s -- actually, they're beginning to replicate the 1850s...

Yeah, I've just been shocked how CNN, et al, use those huge GOOGLE EARTH screens and then can zoom in on virtually any square inch in Fort Hood.

It's just appalling.

It doesn't make any sense.

WHY is this permissable??

Doesn't the army CARE????
