The one thing that did make it easier was knowing the past 8 years of his life, while he was our companion, he had the best life. :) He was the king of the house. He had been abused before he came to us, but I can honestly say, the Shaggy man never wanted for anything.
Sorry about your doggie.....he was lucky to find you for his last 8 years...
