Ted Nugent: Why gun sales are surging ( It just wont stop )
WacoTrib ^ | February 8th | Texas Wildman

His choice of Eric Holder to be attorney general bolsters that distrust.

Like Obama, Holder is a gun-control zealot —typical of the loony, anti-freedom wing of the Democratic Party.

Do not believe the president’s thinly veiled statements about supporting an individual’s right to own guns. Rather, review these men’s previous, career-long, freedom-restricting, gun-grabbing statements.

Yeah, I know one of those pretty well too... eight years in, with two Iraq deployments and one in Afghanistan. He calls me dad.

Please thank him for his service.

I've got nephew who is on his second activation as a E6/E7 reservist. First time was voluntary, second his whole unit got activated. First time he went *everywhere* in the CentCom AO, this time he's at a stateside base, with his unit filing in for an active duty unit that is "elsewhere", or possibly just undermanned. It's a basic training unit. He can even drive home on the weekends, since the active post is in the same state.

but have ammo manufacturers been pressed to 'under-serve' the market for political reasons?

I'm more concerned about things like patents 5773748 and 6881284. What is the University of California plotting?

Picked up a S&W MP15 last week. Now stocking up on ammo and waiting for the call. My gun shop gets a few every week and they were selling out in a day or two. But since deer season ended they have less traffic and there is always 2 or 3 on the shelf all the time. No backlog here unless you want a specific model.

The NRA is a big organization and as such, makes them pussies. They get close to the meaning of the 2nd ammendment, sometimes. Real close. But then they go 'Hunter' on my ass. When they miss, it's an embarrassment. Just like our government: who couldn't hit the 2nd ammendment with a flying mule smoking crack.

On the bright side, the Feds bubble is gonna pop, just like real estate and tech. The states are bankrupt and the people are holding onto whatever cash they've got left.

The giant Monkey on Your Back is about to be un-funded. That's the good news. Bad news is: most aren't prepared to live outside the 'cage'. You know, that temprorary 'feel good' place the government made for you. Look, it's really not too late for these 'reconstructionists' to get back in line, but they won't. They like their definition of the Bill of Rights just fine. Sorry fools.

You’re right. The Armory is now sold out of Bear - as of about 6PM PST per your post. They had it in stock this afternoon.

OMC still shows 2031 boxes of Wolf JHP at $6.95 per box and 588 boxes of Wolf Military Classic FMJ at $6.50 a box as of 9:15 PST tonight. Both in their West Coast warehouse.

These guys are the source for the Crossroads gun shows in SF so it may be slim pickin’s Saturday after next.

Time to learn reloading.

Hmmm, primers with a shelf-life? Very interesting. I went to this University and believe me, it's liberalism is under no threat of degredation or anything approaching a 'shelf-life'.

The biggest embarrassment has been our Republican governor signing legislation allowing for micro-stamping of ammo spent through a gun. At such time, he should have been deported back to Austria with a lifetime supply of Ricola. <cough idiot cough>

“The average American is now a jaded, selectively-educated dickweed with the courage of a rabbit. If you can look around yourself and see patriots willing to die for anything, let alone freedom, you live in a better neighborhood than I do.

I must live in a better COUNTRY than you do! You really think that half the voting public voting for Obama means the rest of us are “dickweeds”? We’ll just consider this your suicide note considering you have already given up. I hope you don’t consider yourself any kind of American patriot or citizen, you give up too easily.

Wearing ACU’s is a lot different than facing American SWAT.

They wear them "professionally", by comparison, most SWAT are wannabes. Individual cases may vary of course.

Well since I dont know every member of every SWAT unit in this country like you do, I can only comment on the ones that I do know and they are every bit as professional as SF, DELTA or any other SPECOP military unit. But that wasn’t my point.

There’s a big difference between being surrounded by peers that are supported by the US Government and the majority of the American public and facing death alone, hated and despised by the government, having your honor, name and reputation destroyed by a media that will run a 24/7 news cycle about how evil you are.

Keep in mind that most SWAT members are American Citizens with families in the U.S. that are just as patriotic as the average Joe, Most SWAT team members that I have ever worked with are very Patriotic and I think that if SHTF they would know which side to be on... If not, then they WILL on the wrong side eg... the enemy's side.

Also keep in mind, that during the American Revolution, Farmers and businessmen took on one of the biggest professional armies in the world... and won!

None of the STATE efforts you mention are in the same class as the Feds trying to confiscate weapons. That is, I think, what it would take to galvanize resistance.

I agree with your point about "creeping delegitimization" in the very long run.

"I left the NRA years ago because they supported and helped to pass legislation putting Combat Vets returning from the wars that had PTSS on the "list" banning them from owning weapons and not being able to be removed from the "list""

If you are referring to HR2640 that was passed after Virginia Tech, tightening up the mental health laws and gun ownership then you are sadly mistaken. If you have the courage to read something not put out by GOA, then please read this:

http://www.pgnh.org/enough_nra_bashing

My personnel opinion is that the only reason that the GOA exists is to bash the NRA so that they can become the pre-eminent 2nd Amendment civil rights groups out there. The fact of that bill is the opposite. It took records of approximately 80,000 vets off the NICS system and essentially allowed these 80,000 vets to once again be able to own firearms.

At first I did a double take on this bill because it was being co-sponsored by Carolyn McCarthy. However, once you read the facts of the bill, you will see it is a bill that loosens restrictions of gun ownership for vets who previously could not own guns due to PTSD diagnosis. Look at who lined up against the bill. The GOA was aligned in opposition to the bill with the Brady Bunch, Violence Policy Center and the Huffington Post. That should tell you all you need to know about the bill.

DO NOT join NRA, GOA or any of the other groups. If you want to spend your money effectively on the fight for our rights, donate your money to the Heller Foundation.

www.hellerfoundation.org

Dick Heller runs the foundation and ALL proceeds go to the upcoming 2nd Amendment cases. These guys are the ONLY ones that have actually been pro-active on the 2nd Amendment and that have successfully gotten a win in the courts for us.

Mike

This organization sounds like a worthwhile one to support I agree with you. I don't agree with not joining or supporting the NRA. It's true that they did not initially get in on the Heller case. However, its not because they did not believe in the case. They feared the justices at the time it was started (remember, this was when Sandra Day O'Connor was still on the bench) would rule against them. Once the Heller case was adjudicated in our favor, they were back on the front lines putting lawsuits against cities with similar gun bann ordinances and getting them overturned. That you can't deny.

It’s similar to the GOA in that they have strong convictions for 2A the acronym is Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.
