OMG I always said this liberal was not going to fight in Afghanistan much less pakistan, no matter what he said.

Did anyone notice his ONLY reference to Afghanistan in the inaugaral address was that we would “forge a peace” there?

There is concern among senior Democrats that the military is preparing to send up to 30,000 extra troops without a coherent plan or exit strategy.

1. Democrats have no clue whatsoever as to what is actually going on.
2. Leave the war to the military, not Democrats. The military actually has a track record of success in what it does, so long as Democrats are not involved...

To paraphrase Don Meredith, “Turn out the lights, the country’s over”.

Even for a Chicago hack, Obozo breaks his promises/pledges/ camapaign positions with brethtaking speed. So now the centerpiece for HIS offensive War on Terror is up for review [Dimspeak for ‘committee it to death’].

Will the MSM ever point this out? Will the drones who voted for him even care? The world wonders...

And what do they mean ‘the democrats are concerned re: the military sending 30,000’? Obama said it out of his mouth.

He even sent Pelosi out on the sneak for a draft statement to watch polling.

The surge worked in Iraq, so he doesn’t want it to work in Afghanistan?

I don’t know what he is doing, but before we send any more troops to Afghanistan, we need to set an end game strategy and figure out the larger problem which is Pakistan.

Thank you for posting this article.

Dear Prezadent Obamaer,

You obviously need some help (another Cabinet position, and I’m available), so here it is.

The SURGE worked in Iraq.
The more soldiers we put there at one time, the less will end up dying.

And remember folks he wanted the surge in Afghanistan because the surge was working in Iraq and he didn’t want it there. So he had to want it in Afghanistan to look tough. Also remember he said McCain wasn’t willing to go to the cave where Osama bin Laden was hiding. He also said “We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al Qaeda. That has to be our biggest national security priority,” in the debate. So much for killing Osama and crushing al Qaeda.

I need to copyright the phrase "without a coherent plan." I'll make a fortune over the next four years. Aside from the marxist/muslim viewpoint of Obama, it's like hiring a bookkeeper that can't add or subtract. The books just don't get done, and eventually nobody knows what the heck is going on.

I mean really. Who is better qualified than General Petraeus to evaluate the quality of our military planning. Could it be Barney Frank? How about Chris Dodd? Or Joe Biden? or His Highness?

Leading Democrats fear Afghanistan could become Obama's "Vietnam quagmire."

These same Democrats still believe that Saddam and the Taliban should not have been removed as they were legitimate and legal governments. Just like Uncle Ho was the "legitimate" head of all Vietnam.

What is this obscession that every military attack must be accompanied by an “exit strategy” plan to run away?

How about a good enough plan and effort on our part that the OTHER side needs the “exit strategy”?

They need to turn off the Creedence Clearwater Revival music and realize that everything isnt Vietnam. Hell, even their Vietnam isn’t the real Vietnam.

He asked: "What's the endgame?" and did not receive a convincing answer.

I guess our generals didn't go to fortune-telling school like Bammy did.

Someone should advise the Idiot WonderBoy that military action is full of imponderables, and unknowns, which can change without notice. It's not a chessboard where all the pieces are known and the rules and boundaries clear. If you want an "endgame" Bammy, ask Garry Kasparov.
