Well, sometimes parentheses (those diacritical marks that look like little squirmy lines (well, not diacritical exactly, but little marks anyway (actually as little or big as the font you're using (and are curvy no matter what font (except for wingdings (which isn't a font))))) and serve the purpose of setting off parenthetical thoughts (if that isn't redundant, that is (which it is))) make sentences clearer. Like that one. :-)

Not hardly. I think it amusing that an adult would actually expend the time to publicly air his/her maniacal peevishness over something as trite, and inconsequential, as parenthetical remarks.

Some headlines are clever but overly vague. I hope no zero tolerance rules are placed to prevent [help in flagging].
