Candy Crowley during senator Arlen Specters presentation broke in and during some feedback segment to the CNN online Facilitator stated that according to CNN calculations listening to the Previous speakers Senators Collins and Nelson and digging in before the speach she stated confidently that the Senate version of This Bill will be higher than the House version of this supposed stimulus package US$ 827 Billion , House 820 billion!!!!!!!!!!! They then Cut the Online version which I was watching...with Sen Lieberman speaking.

I emailed them and asked if thats the case why do they have a US$ 780 billion Banner running on the screen? I sent it twice then they cut into the weather with some Happy songs as Filler music!! I guess they were off script!!

Candy also said that the Interest is astronomical! and makes it even worse...only in a senators mind she said can Higher cost mean lower..hahaha

What a joke... and Sen Specter wants to raise NIH Budget from 10 Billion to 30 billion in the next budget! GOD PLEASE HELP US!!

Any GOPer that votes for this should not be given another vote by the party. I hope Steele turns these guys out on their ear if they vote for it. Lindsey Graham needs to help lead the charge for the renewal of the party in the Senate, I don’t think McConnell has the passion to do it.

It wouldn’t be bad if the rest of the GOP will hang together. State clearly that they don’t want their name on the package.

And what does “compromise” mean? Is it just a couple of Senators? If it is, that’s more of a personal compromise than a party agreement.

This guy is creepy!

This is exactly what happened last time.

Washington is completely out of control.

No Lindsay Graham is the one catching the headlines, railing against this plan that no way in hell he is voting for it and pointing out the ‘huddling’ senators in the corner. He is pissed off. McConnell is not so passionate or animated. I was saying maybe Graham should lead the fight to get our party back on track in the senate rather than McConnell. I didn’t misspeak.

Yes, sickening...but we need to get over it, and look to the days following the passage of the ugly festering sore, to the simple joy of watching what they do when this has no effect on making peoples lives better. It will be just like Tarp (did you catch Ben Stein, supporter of TARP,carping about the poor execution by Paulson?) More of this is coming.

I look for another one of these coming down the pike in about 6 weeks. I’m sorry for the country, but the country needs to take the cure (rant over).

The reason TARP doesnt work.

The banks are taking the cash at 5% for big banks who have had to give up stock, and 8% for smaller banks. Nobody can make loans when their money cost is too high. They are using it for cash flow only. That doesn’t solve the liquidity problem really at all.

Two of my bankers at different banks, one in Chicago and one in Florida refused the money at that cost. Suntrust is in my area and they took the money. They are sucking wind right now and who knows if they will survive.

Graham finds his backbone for a moment and he should lead the party for the Senate?
