If you are paid for an appearance and that state has an income tax, you have to pay state income taxes on the amount you received. Pro athletes have to do it for each game they play. It’s one of the reasons they like to play in Tennessee, Florida, and Texas. No state income taxes means they get to keep more.

Where-ever these people “work” they have to pay taxes. Sports players have to pay taxes for each state they play games in. AROD pays taxes in every American league city & state that the Yankess play in. So, lots of states get his tax money for the games he is there.

Hey, didn’t Obama say we have 57 states? Franken has a few more to rip off.

Ah, Pelosi really did clean up the swamp of corruption. Moved it from California to Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and DC. ALL DEMOCRATS.

Thanks, Nancy, a job well done. Maybe we should rename you “Typhoid Pelosi”. BITCH!

I'm not defending or making excuses for Franken, but when your work involves travel all around the country and you earn income in many states, it can be complicated to figure out state income taxes. You can bet that if you make a very substantial income, just about every state that has an income tax will want a piece of it.
