McCain=UGH!!
I like Lieberman better than McCain...I don't agree with him on much but I think he has more character than most members of congress...certainly more than McCain!

“Imagine if McCain had chosen Lieberman as his running mate
and Sarah had remained in Alaska completely unknown...”

In such a scenario McCain would have gotten even fewer votes.
What are you?

If we say before the actual vote that we think Voinovich will betray Republicans, Voinovich has less to lose by doing so. I'm still hearing that Voinovich and Martinez are not going to back the barely pared-down verison of the stimulus package. Have hope.

They don’t care. You have to provide a SSN for each child when you file.

I tried all day yesterday to call Sen. Scottish Law, but it was busy. Today, I got through to voice mail telling me the voice mail box is full.
He is a eunuch.

Collins was all over TV today saying that she WOULD vote for the bill. Was happy with the compromises.
To: Irish Eyes
I thought she said that if they put more spending in when they finalize the bill with the House, that she would not vote for it.
What's wrong with the people in Maine. NH. Vermont? Are they so far removed (geographically) with the rest of the country that they don't know what's going on in the real world?

Reid said they are flying Kennedy in so he could vote. I pray that Ted will be OK. But Reid is praying the Ted will vote before he kicks the bucket. Reid is so desperate to pass this porky-pig bill. He is willing to risk the live of Ted. Reid is evil.

Oh, I'm keeping track. I think we should keep the pressure on Voinovich, and I am optimistic, but I know anything could happen. We all should keep emailing, calling, etc.
