A Democratic Congressman has warned that a panic atmosphere is being intentionally created in order to get the financial bailout billed passed, further stating that several members of Congress were told before Monday’s vote that martial law will be instigated in America if the legislation fails.
Congressman Brad Sherman of California’s 27th congressional district told the House in a speech yesterday evening that he personally knew of several Congressional representatives who have said they were threatened with the prospect of all out martial law should they vote in opposition to the $700 billion bailout.
Sherman essentially intimated that powerful forces who want the bill passed have attempted to blackmail elected representatives.
“The only way they can pass this bill is by creating and sustaining a panic atmosphere. That atmosphere is not justified.” Sherman stated.
“Many of us were told in private conversations that if we voted against this bill on Monday that the sky would fall, the market would drop two or three thousand points the first day, another couple of thousand the second day, and a few members were even told that there would be martial law in America if we voted no.” The Congressman continued.
There is speculation from alarmed citizens that Obama is trying purposefully to create a financial collapse of the USA so as to declare martial law, suspend the Congress and Courts, take over all private production in the country, and declare himself dictator for life.

My guess is these charges are being dropped to get around that and my assumption is charges will be refiled after the 120 day review. Otherwise, just dropping charges without refiling would be insane and I doubt BHO is insane. “
WHY did he want any delay in the first place? This is a slap in the face to the military commission and and inefficient waste of time and resources!
I certainly hope that these family members vividly expressed their feelings about this to Obama.

My husband has been voicing this very same concern....particularly when one looks at the $$$$ aimed (via grants) for ACORN and another similar group in the proposed SPENDING (not stimulus) package.

Obama is essentially a fascist in the nationalist socialist tradition. Without the stimulus package, he cannot bring the economic sector under his direct control, and socialize America. If he gets the bailout ( I think he will), then we are well on our way to the next crisis, where martial law WILL be declared.
And so we will become a fascist state, until Obama can be defeated, either at the polls , or in our streets.
BTW, Obama is not coming unraveled, he is just beginning to execute his plan for America, and George Soros, and Obamas lefty buddies intent to destroy America, and make it into a Big Brother Utopia. In that process we will lose our individual freedoms, guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.
This is just Obama beginning to come out of the closet, showing us who he really is.
In front of Congress, Rangel has argued that voluntary service is a form of discrimination against blacks and other minorities, as these groups tend to be lower income and in many cases have no choice but to enlist. Rangel thinks a draft is more fair as it would cause more rich white people to serve. It all has to do with the politics of race baiting.

It's just what I said yesterday on a couple of threads. The purpose of this meeting was not to reassure family members (and the public). It was to find at least one or two TV-worthy Obama supporters among the families. People who will gladly shill for him and dilute the message of people opposed to O's crappy, seditious Gitmo and anti-terrorism policies.
