Abortionist describes procedure slated for new Madison, WI clinic (Contacts provided)

MADISON-- WIBA 1310 AM radio talk show host Vicki McKenna recently welcomed former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino onto her show to discuss the second trimester abortions he once performed regularly while practicing in Troy, New York. Levatino estimates that he performed 9 to 10 abortions per week at his OB practice over the course of eight years, including 1,200 D&E (Dilation and Extraction) procedures that are used to abort pregnancies in the second trimester.

McKenna interviewed Levatino today on “Up Front” because of plans to establish a clinic at the University of Wisconsin's Madison Surgery Center which would perform the D & E procedure. The UW Hospital board of directors voted 11-3 this past Wednesday to approve the clinic, but final approval requires a vote from the board of the surgical center itself, which may take place on Friday morning.

In the interview, Levatino described the procedure in detail, whether it's actually needed as a medical treatment and the reasons his patients sought the procedure.

I saw a disturbing short documentary-style drama about a woman in Florida who underwent a botched 2nd-trimester abortion in DC on the day before the March for Life. It's called 22 Weeks. The real-life woman was present to answer questions afterwards, and she was also on Laura Ingraham's radio show the following day. It was really eye-opening.

Well now, there's the problem at the fundamentals: the vast majority of Americans don't want to 'feel' (as in an issue of the 'heart') where abortion is the issue, they want to avoid the issue and have it available if they in particular want to resort to this heinous rite of slaughtering alive unborn human beings. By legalizing the murder of alive unborn children, the legal system (may Blackmun rot in the Hell he deserves) has afforded a tacit approval of the evil. The public is okay with the legailty of abortion on demand because they do not have to confront the issue at the level of the soul, thus they want to avoid 'feeling' anything about the heinous evil and the godless media and bankruypt churches allow them their comfort zones.

What this murderous bastard calling itself a doctor does is often dismember children while they are still alive and without the benefit of anesthesia to block the agony. But it's shortlived, don'tchaknow. From week 13 to 16/18 a child can be pulled into pieces by the force used to 'extract' them from the womb, so an aid is usually assigned the task of counting the arms and legs and head and torso, to insure no 'tidbits' are left behind to poison the female who hired the slaughter.

Most avoid thinking about “the issue” in much the same way people avoid thinking about so many unpleasant things: bills, doctor visits, taxes. Outta sight - outta mind.

A personal example: A priest, after years of encouragement to be more actively pro-life allows a pro-life sign to be placed on Church property. IIRC it simply said "Choose Life" or something as equally non-confrontational. After only a few days it comes down. WHY? One (as in 1, only ONE) lady called and said it made her "feel uncomfortable". So Fr. Spineless immediately had it removed.

Many good church going people who are pro-life, nonetheless cringe at the A word. I've see it in many faces. They want all mention of the subject to end ASAP.

That's why the evil has grown as big as it has.
