Bwahahaha ... undermines his “well, I always had a driver when I was a Senator so I just thought that’s how it worked” tax excuse. But in this ad, he claims he drove himself in an old clunker. Which is it, Tommy? Were you lying then, or lying now? Oh, wait, your lips were moving so I KNOW you were lying.
That car sure was smoking...looks to me like Tom Daschel caused Global Warming.

This should be fodder for all the late night talk shows, but of course, it won’t be.
Drove it in the winter in Minnesota. Not going to screw up the good car.
Bonus was that I never had to lock it.
Forgot the keys in the ignition one time at the Mpls airport. Out of town for the whole week.
Got back to town. Went to the parking garage. There was the car. Keys still in the ignition.
Note on the steering wheel said, "You've got to be kidding."

Yup, it'd be on ABCNBCCBSMSNBCCNN every hour of every day for the next month, with periodic refreshers until he was out of office.
My favorite Obama moment of truth-is-stranger-than-fiction is his position on gun control via his "commonsense" gun laws. There are certain guns which he said should only be used on foreign battlefields, and that they should never be, “on the streets of America.” Turns out those guns are carried by his security detail. I've also heard that his convoy includes a vehicle that can deploy a weapon shooting about 4000 rounds per minute. (Similar to the A10.) Boy, talk about crowd control, I feel safer already knowing that someone in Obama’s employ could unleash that on a crow of civilians if they felt appropriately provoked. I don't know about you, but I won't be taking the family to an area with an Obama motorcade passing through anytime soon.
