Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) defended herself Wednesday against an ad featuring actress Ashley Judd that accuses her of “championing the slaughter of wildlife.”
In a statement released through the governor’s office, Palin called the ad, paid for by Defenders of Wildlife, “reprehensible and hypocritical.”
“The ad campaign by this extreme fringe group, as Alaskans have witnessed over the last several years, distorts the facts about Alaska’s wildlife management programs,” Palin said. “These audacious fundraising attempts misrepresent what goes on in Alaska, and I encourage people to learn the facts about Alaska’s positive record of managing wildlife for abundance.”
“Shame on the Defenders of Wildlife for twisting the truth in an effort to raise funds from innocent and hard-pressed Americans struggling with these rough economic times,” she continued.

Judd was so far out of her intellectual depth on this issue it made me wonder if she isn’t learning impaired.

Gosh gosh,,,I don’t know what to think. I mean, according to Wiki, Ashley has actually played several “strong woman” roles in movies. And then theres Sarah,,who actually is a strong woman. So i compare Ashley,,to Sarah,,and gosh, how do i know who to listen to? sarc/

Any yeah, hypocrite. Ashleys DAD is an analyst for the horse racing industry. Maybe she needs to take on animal cruelty at the next holiday dinner with the family.

Good women look better as they get older, and if they start out with good genes, like Sarah Palin, that can get pretty impressive. Women who are ugly inside start going downhill by 30.
Even Ashley Judd should be able to figure out that killing ONE wolf will probably save HUNDREDS of prey animals from dying by having their throats torn out by that wolf.
