I dont claim to have a sure-fire solution for the economy. But Im pretty confident theres something certain to prop up pay-per-view ratings: a steel cage match between Arianna Huffington and Mark Haines.
The pair put in separate appearances on Morning Joe. After the never-shy Huffington called on the government to stop protecting the equity holders in banks, Haines came on and called Huffington clueless and suggested in the future, you might want to get someone who knows what theyre talking about. He pointed out that, contrary to Ariannas claim, equity holders in the banks have been destroyed.
As youll see from the screencap, Mika Brzezinskis jaw literally dropped at Haines candid comments.

Mark Haines NEVER pulls any punches.
He's about as outspoken of a member of the MSM as you can possibly find--and his outspokenness is directed and the left and right.

Why are they so shocked by his comment? It’s not like he put a hit out on her or something, what is so out of bounds about saying someone is “clueless”?
I’d say that’s an accurate description of a woman who didn’t know she was married to a queer.

Technically speaking if the holders of the equity still have shares then they have not lost anything and if the insitution in which they hold equity has received a "bailout" then they do indeed have something to be thankful for because (as I understand it) otherwise they would now hold worthless peices of paper. I give this one to Huff, as much as it hurts me to do so. At this time let the bad actors suffer.

I like CNBC. Haines and Joe Kernan are outspokenly conservative and I think Becky Quick is a closet right winger. I know Carl Quintanilla is a liberal but he plays it very straight during Squawk Box. None of these people suffer fools gladly. NBC could use a few more like them.

Don’t you love hearing her use words like “equity” when she’s probably never even balanced her own checkbook? You can see it in the expression on her face, she just called up the Huffington Compost’s Financial Guru—probably some New Ager—and asked for a few key words she could toss out there so she’d seem to know what she was talking about.

You’re right but Haines is a bit of a blow-hard. He tried his bullying tactics on Rush a week or two ago and Rush handled it perfectly (since Haines was, typically, taking him out of context and just going with the MSM line). But if anyone deserves a ripping, Arianna is probably at the front of that list.

She’s what I call the guttural liberal. She makes all kinds of grunting noises to establish her liberal credentials. Like she is posing for her friends or something.
It’s annoying, hollow and patronizing.
Then again, Joe tries to keep her quiet most of the time. So she resorts to that cheap method of editorializing. And it’s always predictable.
Zippy? Huh?

I think anyone would turn gay after being married to her. Her husband probably thought she was a female impersonator. She's very butch.
She's also one of those women whose hairstyles get younger as she gets older. It never works.

No you can’t give it to her. When the government bailed the banks out it took an equity position of its own which is superior to that of previous equity holders. So in effect the government has wiped out the previous equity holders.

Although Arianna Huffington is somewhat new to the ranks of Leftist robots, just the phrase “equity holder” is enough to unhinge any remaining rational thought processes. Why doesn't she just go off somewhere and care for her beloved homeless and destitute. Some of them are deranged enough that they will communicate effectively with her.

Her husband probably thought she was a female impersonator. She's very butch. Al Franken didn't think so when they were both married and carrying on together.
What really appalls me is that she was a "conservative" one day, which tells you something about the power of the liberal MSM still wield!
