When it comes to coverage of the campaign for president 2008, where one goes for news makes a difference, according to a new study.
... Things look much better for Barack Obama -- and much worse for John McCain -- on MSNBC than in most other news outlets.
... MSNBC stood out for having less negative coverage of Obama than the press generally (14% of stories vs. 29% in the press overall) and for having more negative stories about McCain (73% of its coverage vs. 57% in the press overall).

7.3 to 1.
And around 14%% of MSNBC's stories about Obama were negative, while 40% of MSNBC's stories about Obama were positive.
On FOX NEWS, though, 40% of their stories about McCain were negative, while 22% were positive.
And on FOX NEWS 40% of the stories about Obama were negative, and 25% were positive. 1.6 to 1 compared to the 7.3 to 1 from MSNBC against McCain.
Also, the study shows that 57% of the stories from the media overall were negative about McCain, while only 29% of the stories from the media overall were negative about Obama.
2 to 1 in favor of Obama.
Umm. They had to do a “study” to figure this out. You gotta be kidding me.
(Read the tagline)
Chris Matthews gets a thrill up his leg when he hears Obama speak.
And when is the last time that Olbermann has had a conservative on to debate him?
Hannity and O’Reilly have liberals on all the time to debate them.
Objective to the core!!!
Ignore that thrill going up Chrissy Matthews leg!!!
Ignore it, I tell ya!
The study, though, gives excellent evidence for conservatives to use whenever libs/Dems say that FOX News is biased.
LOL.
We can change things, though, (concerning getting used to “it” in your tag-line).
You all should read Bernard Goldbergs new book:
“A Slobbering Love Affair Starring Barack Obama, The True (and Pathetic) Story of the Torrid Romance Between Barack Obama and the Mainstream Media.”
It really covers all of this. It is both witty and scary.
Oh please. Are you still falling for the good cop bad cop routine?
I’m eager to see John Ziegler’s film “Media Malpractice: how Obama got elected” when it becomes available.
More here http://www.johnziegler.com/
I’m shocked.
Outside of Rush, Hannity, Boortz, and Ingram, I don’t think any media wasn’t shilling for Obambi. It was yellow journalism at its finest.
Oh Please.
Still falling?
Who can prove that I ever fell in the first place?
No one.
Maybe they can buy an "Obvious Meter". It keeps you from wasting money studying things that everyone already knows.
??? Falling away from you.
Why did you even make this about me and make it personal in the first place, saying “oh please, are you still falling for that good cop bad cop routine”?
You aren’t allowed to make things personal here at FR. You can’t and msun’t do that here.
Comprende? Good.
Comment on the study, or you are wasting people’s time here.
If you don’t comment on the study you need to go to some other thread.
Thanks.
They made a study to basically say that 1+1=2.
