A Circus of Clergy (put their faith in Darwin)
CMI ^ | February 3, 2009 | Adrian Bates

Roll up, roll up!

Yes folks, here we have the amazing spectacle of a ‘wolf in wolf’s clothing’ acting as ringmaster to a performing circus of clergy. Many readers may have heard of the grandiose ‘Clergy Letter Project’. Simply put, it involves self-avowed atheist and evolutionist, Michael Zimmerman, inviting churches to endorse evolution—thereby denying biblical creation...

Many churches will endorse this. It says so in God's Word.

Instead of me doing all your home work for you, let me start you off with 2Timothy 4;2-4. Go on from there and you will find that I am right. Of course I don't expect you to open your Bible , I doubt if you even have one, but if you do, you might want to read it once in awhile. For a little more help, there is a great Bible concordance on line where you can look up anything you wish quickly. good luck.

I’m going to pose to you a few questions: by what mechanism were all of the creatures of the Earth created? Is it possible that God could have used an evolutionary mechanism to generate biological diversity?

I’m going to propose that it is possible. Now, that still leaves atheistic evolutionists with a few significant problems. First, Darwinian natural selection is easily debunked. Second, macroevolution still has yet to be seen empirically. Third, there is still the issue of irreducible complexity as proposed by Behe and others (goes into debunking Darwin, but worth mentioning separately). Fourth, science lacks a viable explanation of how life came to be from non-life (the Miller experiments having been debunked as well).

Very inconveniently, the science seems to be coming up on the side of evolutionists. We, as Christians, can whine and cry about it and try to invent all sorts of fanciful mechanisms that science can easily discredit, or we can be willing to say that science found “how” God chose to create. This is not about “itching ears” unless we choose to make it so. The Bible contains truth to the Goal of Salvation, but there is much truth that we must seek outside of it that is not unto Salvation.

Don’t forget: we’ve come through these sorts of issues before. Galileo, despite all his pompousness, just happened to be right, and it wasn’t the end of the world. And yet, we’ve come to see that the Heavens declare God’s Glory in a way that Galileo could never have imagined.

I’m going to pose to you a few questions: by what mechanism were all of the creatures of the Earth created?

God created the Universe from nothing. He created all of the creatures out of the stuff He created from nothing.

==Is it possible that God could have used an evolutionary mechanism to generate biological diversity?

Could He have? Yes. Is that the way the Bible says he created biological diversity. No. Each biological organism was created according to its kind, fully formed and fully functional. Does the evidence suggest that biological organisms have a built-in capacity to adapt/change over time? Yes. Does the evidence suggest that any of the original created kinds can morph beyond the limits of what defines their kind? No.

==Very inconveniently, the science seems to be coming up on the side of evolutionists.

What about science seems to be coming up on the side of the Evos beyond the built-in ability of organism to vary within the context of their created kinds?

All the best—GGG

Evolutionary theory poses a problem for the homosexual religionists - it is only possible through HETEROSEXUAL relationships...

One thing is sure - the homosexuals are out of the evolutionary picture, since evolution is only possible with HETEROSEXUAL relationships by definition...

The American Eugenics Society applied this very same strategy to the Methodist churches in the USA. They used to rent out church halls to give lectures on Darwinism and eugenics and so on. Duped a lot of people. The Methodist church recently apologized for its involvement long ago.
