People who are enmeshed in sin, or even youthful naive "floaters" on a filthy social wave, can be really astoundingly intellectually blinded and spiritually calloused.
I know this from experience. Personal.
When you finally come to the light and realize --- it's jarring. And continues to be jarring.
Wonderful explanation, thanks.
Glad to hear of your friend and her 10-year-old son. Thanks be to God -— and to the good doctors.
Yes, that was my thought too. He can repent and mourn now.
Pro-Life bump
In a ectopic pregnancy, the death of the baby is a tragic result of the necessary treatment of the mother. It is not considered an abortion by the Church.
Forty years in the desert might be what’s needed. I am amazed at how much we expect that we should not suffer. I don’t ask for it, but I know that should we indeed suffer over the next few years, it is no different that people throughout time that had to suffer.
We want it now, and I understand that, but it may not be God’s time.
I should have read through all of the replies first. Well done.
Thought I had more time here but have to go. God bless this man, it is never easy to admit that one has participated in the death of their own child. He has shown courage that is sorely lacking in many people these days.
Jvette I think the mistakes that the GOP have made over the last eight years are microscopic compared to the miscues of the d-RAts. How many people are alive today because of the courageous actions of Bush43 in taking the fight to the enemy, instead of sitting back (like the d-Rats want to do) and playing defense?
I do agree with you but have been sorely disappointed that so many of the men and women in the Republican party abandoned President Bush in his hour of need. Cowards most of them and we are paying for their cowardice. I believe that President Bush is a courageous man and his reward will be in heaven.
Sen. Rick Santorum is another hero of mine. He was willing to go down in defeat rather than jettison his principles for political victory.
As for Mr. Steele, I personally like the guy, but I do not think that compromising our beliefs is the way to regain control. I have to laugh when I hear people say that the world will not end if we have gay marriage or unfettered access and funding for abortions. Well, last I checked, the sky seems to be falling at a pretty alarming rate. Funny, that people see no connection to the problems in this society to the decadence and utter disregard for life.
When I was speaking of the desert, it was in reference to those like me, who feel that God is not pleased with this country and there may be some troubles ahead before things get better. I only meant that we are no more special than other people and not above having to suffer. Remember when Jesus spoke of those who died in Sodom and Gomorrah and he asks his disciples whether they believe they are no less sinful? That’s what I meant.
