Corrupt politicians prefer unarmed taxpayers.

I think you’re referring to the Form 4473, used when purchasing (most) firearms from a FFL dealer.

This would be above-and-beyond that.

Get an across the board injunction and fight it all the way to the SCOTUS....

Maybe then the NRA could request a copy of his long form birth certificate.

If he is Kenyan all laws he signs are bogus.

Isn’t a gun registered when it is purchased, or is this over and above that?
As others have pointed out, that depends on the state.

There is a NICS (federal background check) at the time of purchase. The law that established that check specifically forbids the Feds from retaining any records from the checks. The Clinton administration ignored this restriction and kept all the records. George W. Bush and his administration destroyed the retained records and did not retain any records during his administration. I haven't seen any executive orders or policies from the Obama administration yet that indicate that they are retaining any records from NICS. It will come, but I don't think that has happened yet.

Where you live a gun is registered when purchased. This would apply those stupid laws to normal states. Yes it’s over and above that.

***If it passes, you will see confiscation in 5 years.***

I remember when Ferdinand Marcos instituted handgun registration in the Philipines. The American media was estatic! They loved it, called for it here.
I said to my working companions to look for confiscation within five years.

It didn’t take that long. within two years Marcos began to confiscate registered handguns. The American MSM called for it here! I told my working companions to look for Marcos to seize power within five years. He seized power within two years.

Yes, the NRA will have to prove its mettle, if not its metal as well...;-)

>>I’ll register in the same manner 0bama’s nominees pay taxes.<<

I’ll register after he produces a valid Birth Certificate AND John Kerry releases his DD-214 and medical records. Till then, go take a nap, 0bambi.

4473 is a half-assed sort of registration .

My local FFL says the 4473 is going to an online database. The paper forms will be gone. No more requirement for an FFL to keep them on file. The BATFE has always had the ability to collect the 4473 forms from an FFL.

My FFL is frankly happy to be rid of the responsibility of keeping the paper on file. The downside is the obvious creation of an online database of firearms purchases.

The bill the NRA appears to be citing would require a federal LICENSE to possess any firearm with a removable magazine. That is a blatant infringement on the right to keep and bear arms. It converts an unalienable right into a licensed privilege. That is unconstitutional.

Get an across the board injunction and fight it all the way to the SCOTUS.

After observing the Justices behavior in the "Natural Born Citizen" court actions, I wouldn't count on them for anything.

Sure am glad I sold all my guns the day Obama was elected, to show my support for our new Dear Leader.

That is unconstitutional.

The US Constitution is dead.

That Obama is sitting in the Oval Office proves it.
