A mother has pleaded guilty to murdering her only child after being told by her boyfriend: 'It's her or me'.
Penny Boudreau strangled her 12-year-old daughter Karissa in a twisted bid to stop her boyfriend from ending their affair.
The heartless mother ignored her terrified daughter's cries of 'Mummy, don't!' as she pinned her to the ground and wrapped a rope around her neck, prosecutor Paul Scovi told a Canadian court.

My objection is stripping the personal responsibility from the bad actor and plastering the blame on the rest of society. It's the classic liberal approach to dodging responsibility. It's the same approach that leads to gun bans for everyone as a solution to the bad behavior of a few. The same approach that has the TSA searching feeble old white women to avoid offending swarthy young men in their 20s.
Every population has a percentage of bad actors. Deal with them. Don't punish all for the acts of a few.

Real women don’t do that.
They would kill the boyfriend before they’d kill their kids.

My pastor quoted Matthew 24:12 - “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.” - and pointed out things like this as a sign of the end times (not that he says the world is ending in the very near future.) People seem to be more and more calloused toward those whom they should love and protect, yet that natural love seems to be fading for many.

that’s just silly. can you explain to a female brain why fathers murder their children? it’s madness. why would you ask any sane person to explain the mind of a madman or madwoman? trying to break this down along gender lines is stupid.

"Clearly, this calls for stricter rope-control laws."
If they really cared cared for children, "the One (Messiah and Saviour) and other great Americans such as Pelosi and Franks would be calling for the outright ban on the manufacture of rope.
As it stand right now, any eight year old boy could walk into a hardware store and buy as much rope as he can afford. The next thing you know, he's climbed a tree and tied it to an overhanging branch and created a "Tarzan" swing. How many elbow must be scraped, arms broken and eyes poked out with sticks before we stop these evil (and probably conservative) swings.
It's not just these evil swings, either. What of all the poor little girls injured in the barbaric right called "Jumping Rope". We're dealing with a product that serves no real purpose and whose manufacture is ensured soley by the lobbyist from the vile NRA (National Rope Association).
Of course, neither of us is serious about "rope-control" laws, but we really should watch what we say in jest. In the nanny state this country has evolved into, some progressive idiot will see it and think it's a good idea. The next thing you know, we'll be seeing ads on late night TV saying, "Have you or a loved one been injured, scarred or killed by rope....."
On a more serious side, someone, most likely the family, really failed poor Karissa. This could only be the culmination of a string of signs there was trouble and they probably fretted and did nothing.

I'm sitting here just sick that anyone who could call herself a mother would do this.
This woman is no mother (and good for the judge to tell her so).
She is just an evil witch and I hope she rots in hell for murdering that beautiful little girl.

According to a neighbor, who ended up informing on her to the police, she was partying constantly from the moment her daughter went missing:
EXCERPT: Their apartment was always quiet. But on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, the day she told police her only child had disappeared, Ms. Boudreau started partying. And she didnt stop for days.
“Her child was missing and she was carting alcohol into the house, partying; there was noise, banging, screaming, hollering, partying,” he said. “There was definitely a change in her personality there. . . . They were partying up until two days after the body was found. It was a 24-7 party.”
She brought in lobster and carried up bags of liquor, he said. Mr. Saunders said he could hear “large amounts of sexual activity” going on in the apartment, and at times the smell of pot was so strong that he put a towel across the bottom of his door.
The slamming against his walls was so bad that his wall vibrated and cracked, Mr. Saunders said. He said Bridgewater police were called to their apartment “numerous times.”

Don’t blame God for this for one second. These people have the free will to repent. What we see here is the absence of a conscience, of morality. God weeps that we would choose these actions, yet He doesn’t interfere with our free will. These people will be judged.

I never blame God for anything, but I do hold Him, the Creator of all things, ultimately responsible. Please know that responsibility, is not a bad thing.
