Lauer’s pre-game propaganda

Turns out we hate the media more than ever on Super Bowl Sunday.

That’s because Matt Lauer achieved what medical experts have always considered to be anatomically impossible by interviewing President Obama’s while his lips were firmly planted on the president’s butt.

Sadly, NBC turned a 12-minute portion of its programming over to Matt Lauer and President Obama for a little Super Bowl pre-game propaganda.

Had the interview had been strictly about football, it might have seemed
more reasonable. But it strayed rather quickly into an opportunity for Obama
to discuss the war in Iraq and his economic stimulus package.

Does anyone recall a similar cloying interview with President Bush prior to
earlier Super Bowl games?

We don’t.

If Matt Lauer spoke to any liberal his lips were planted firmly on their butt.

Matt Laeur is a sorry piece of refuse.

"Had the interview had been strictly about football, it might have seemed more reasonable."

WTF would Hussein know about football?
Or the economy, for that matter...?

It was a lovely, lovely game! :)

The Cards have TOTAL bragging rights, though Warner was being a bit of a baby at the end. There’s no crying in football, you pansies!

Let’s see if they can repeat. :)

Who won the first Super Bowl ever played? Yep. The Green Bay Packers. And the SECOND one, too. :)

Then it was a 30 year drought. And NOW it’s another thirty year drought for us. But we’ve got beer. We’ve got brats, and we’ve got Tailgaiting down to a science. We’ll survive, LOL!

I agree...

Once the conversation turned from football into another NBC kiss-up to The Anointed One, I turned off NBC--and turned on the DVD player for an hour....

It was a really entertaining game. And no bloodshed and everyone walked off the field under their own steam.

What did you think of 92 roughing up the AZ guy after his (92’s) SPECTACULAR touch down earlier int he game?

I thought that was glossed right over.

And...as an added bonus, Joe Namath isn’t totally wasted for a change as he hands out the trophies, LOL!

When liberals interview liberals...its a lovefest. When liberals interview conservatives...its combative and angry. I refuse to drink the kool aid and will never forget the way liberals treated BUSH all these years, including on January 20th...they showed no respect.

I decided that was a perfect time for a long walk. I really didn’t want to see Lauer achieve another screaming O-gasm.

From what I saw of the game, Rotheilsberger didn’t have anything to brag about. I’ve never seen why the sportswriters love him so much.
