Why Am I Getting A Google Error Instead Of The Normal 427 (or whatever that error is).
Posted on 01/31/2009 1:58:16 PM PST by NoGrayZone
Instead of the usual 427 "site is down, retry" error, I'm getting a google "Oops, this link appears broken" error. I have NEVER received this before. Google is not my homepage or anything significant on my computer.
Before you "put on your tinfoil hat"'s people start.....DON'T. This is the 1st time I have seen this kind of error.

But I was already on FR, posting. Google has that much power to disrupt me on FR? I wasn’t anywhere near google when it happened.

A feature of your google tool bar. The page has a link “Why am I getting this message”.

The same thing happened to me a few minutes ago; google isn’t my homepage, either. How did google take over FR?

Oooooh, I do have a google toolbar. But that can disrupt my time on another site? If so, that’s just messed up!

FreeRepublic was running real slow a short while ago. Since I use Opera, I received Opera errors. Do you have a google toolbar?
