"....have allowed William Jefferson (D)LA to stay in office even though he has been indicted." I heard he was no longer in office. The voters voted him out.
He was not CONVICTED only indicted. Ang (R) beat Jefferson last November.
Blago, for the record, is not indicted yet. He's just under investigation. Alas, indictments are likely coming down soon now that Blago is out of office. Later this year Fitzfong should try Blago.

Didn’t realize that. However he should have been tossed out on his a$$ the minute they found the cash in his freezer and he was indicted...

Reminiscent of the losers serenading President Bush on his departure on inauguration day, I offer to Blago:
Na,na,na,..na....na,na,na...na, hey,hey-ey goodbye!

I’m watching MSNBC because they are giving this the most coverage. Hardball is pressing hard on Kwame Raoul and Lisa Madigan, and they have an absolute look of fear on their faces. There is more to this than meets the eyes, people. My gut tells me this is far from over.

Fitzgerald knew exactly what he was doing. It was exposed at the point just prior to the evidence (and awareness by the FBI) that Obama and his chief enforcer, Emanuel, actually committed a crime as opposed to the appearance of impropriety. It was a Democrat ASS COVERING move, period.Gaffer, what you said-----was worth repeating. You broke the code.

He has a constitutional right to a fair criminal trial. He does not have a constitutional right to elected office.True, but I wonder how that will look if he is found innocent in court. Stranger things have happened.

He refused to move into the governors mansion... He would have had to replace all of his escape tunnels and money stashes.

They supposedly had his stuff packed earlier today before they even took the vote. They boxed it all up.

His life is going to be in serious jeopardy now!
Hope he says what he needs to ASAP!
