IN his "first message to the Muslim world" Tuesday, President Obama on Al-Arabiya TV invited the Islamic Republic in Iran to "unclench its fist" and accept his offer of "un conditional talks."
A few hours later, after Obama had appeared on the Saudi-owned satellite-TV channel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a crowd of militants that no talks are possible unless the United States met a set of conditions.
He demanded a formal apology for unspecified US "crimes" against Iran and the Islamic world. The crucial condition, however, was that America should withdraw its troops from other countries, "taking them back to their own territory."
The contrast couldn't have been greater. Obama tried to be as conciliatory as possible - asking only for an "unclenching" of the Iranian fist - a change of style. Ahmadinejad asked for concrete US moves, notably a global military retreat that would leave the Middle East at Tehran's mercy.

Read the whole article. Obama essentially sells out the US: he promises to be an intermediary between Islam and the US and makes it understood that he won't be defending US interests because the US is the bad guy.

Like we couldn’t see this coming. Obama will look like a fool within three months. He’s already gettin’ rolled.
Nothing odd about it at all. He’s not naive, he’s a traitor. He’s a Muslim foreigner and his interests are not our interests. He virtually says so in his strange speech, referring to “the Americans,” as if he’s not one of us. Which he’s not.
Agreed 100 percent, and every time I see this posted, I reply that the exquisite karmic b!tch is that most of those who are killed will be 0bama supporters.
Michael Savage played a song a few days back, trying to remember if it was played at the coronation. The song was,’God Bless America”. Nope, I didn’t hear it!
It won't surprise me one bit if Obama does it.
Which is exactly why the laws/requirements for US president were set to begin with.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
Testy and tested, we will now see that he is without testes.
He will cave and fail to lead.

There is, however, another component and worry that have besides weakness in diplomacy, and it's one that I hope I can shake some day.
It begins, with Mister Obama's middle name, his shadowy association with America-hating terrorists, and his elusiveness in detailing his youth and young-adult life, and how I wish I were more confident that he had the same feelings and appreciation for the history, the greatness, the customs and ways of this wonderful country as do I.
I remain willing to be convinced, but obsequious gestures to those who mean us harm doesn't help me much.
