Contining:
So this is the same President that said,
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times . . . and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK."
Got it. Also, this was one of the most memorable quotes of the campaign, so why didn't the NYT story reference his obvious hypocrisy here?
On second thought, don't answer that.

By “We”, he meant “YOU”.
Collectivist elitists NEVER intend to abide by the rules they subject others to.

He’s from Hawaii?? I guess they forgot he lived in Chi for many years, he could have acclimated. The guy is a self centered “It’s all about me” sort.

Didn’t he say yesterday that he was from Chicago and something like DC didn’t know how to deal with cold/icy weather?
To: Behind Liberal Lines
So if he was cold, why didn’t he just keep his jacket on? (for the children)

All Things Considered, January 28, 2009 · President Obama took a moment Wednesday to comment on how the nation’s capital handles bad weather. He joked about bringing “flinty Chicago toughness” to Washington, D.C.

PROVE IT!!!Hasn't he been living in Chicago for 20 years? He was just making fun of the residents of DC:
Obama gives D.C. cold shoulder over 'some ice'
After living in Chicago, he jokes about his girls getting day off from school
President Barack Obama, steeled by many snowy Chicago winters, expressed disbelief Wednesday when his daughters woke up to find that their classes had been canceled for the day.
"My children's school was canceled today. Because of, what? Some ice?"
As my children pointed out, in Chicago, school is never canceled," Obama said to laughter. "In fact, my 7-year-old pointed out that you'd go outside for recess. You wouldn't even stay indoors. So, I don't know. We're going to have to try to apply some flinty Chicago toughness."
Asked if he meant the people of the national's capital are wimps, Obama said: "I'm saying, when it comes to the weather, folks in Washington don't seem to be able to handle things."

Hes from Hawaii, O.K.? Yet he mocks Washingtonians for not handling the ice like he did in Chicago?

The Times article is just cover. A lot of people objected to the photo, saying not wearing a jacket showed the O was disrespecting the office. They had to make up something.

I still don’t follow the ‘logical explanation’...he was cold, so he turned up the thermostat, and then he took his coat off because he was hot?
It would be ‘logical’ tu just leave the thermostat alone and leave the coat on.
I think a more ‘logical’ explanation would be that he doesn’t like wearing a coat, and doesn’t seem to believe that the position requires wearing a coat.
The fawning media are bordering on Pravda stupid.
