the president hosts roughly two dozen Republicans and Democrats for drinks and economic stimulus chit-chat. I can see it now:
Republican: Thank you for the invitation Mr. Present. Here's my thoughts on the stimulus package...
Present Obama: Shut up! I won. Get over it. Now go check the bathroom to make sure there's toilet paper. Chop, chop. Hop to it.

He’s gonna kill ‘em with kindness, eh? He sure knows how to play the people (via his media lapdogs) on how congenial and affable he is, so that when R’s oppose him they will look like ugly and ungrateful partisans.

Salut to these guys who 100% stood with conservatives today in voting NAY on the "stimulus" bill:
REPUBLICANS House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) House Minority Eric Cantor (R-Va.) Rep. John Carter (R-Texas) Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.)
Now....talk to those Senators!

The event is another sign that the Obamas will have a more youthful, energetic approach to life in the White House than Washington has seen over the past eight years Well, once you watch over 3,000 of your fellow Americans get killed and stand on the rubble where their bodies are buried, I think you realize it's time to put frivolities aside.

RETRACTION:
In light of today’s news that I’m just catching up on I retract my last jab at the GOP members in Congress... How was I supposed to know they all grew a pair in the last 24 hours??? :)

I’m surprised the House Reps are there.....I’m not sure why....the Senator’s are the ones Obambi will be targeting. Unless he’s making threats to the House members at the same time (highly likely.)
