Maybe those 9 turncoats think there should be no bailout and that is why that voted no. The point that is missed here is that the GOP does not agree with Obama’s massive welfare give out and came up with an alternative that most of the GOP supported. At least they stood tall here.

After the way we were gamed on the first bailout, they will never convince me we should approve another.

They told us they needed a $700 billion influx immediately or the credit markets would collapse. We still have $350 billion of those funds laying around. It’s been months.

The end! No more bailouts.

This current Democrat plan is tantamount to wholesale theft from the treasury of the United States, for political(D) purposes. And I’m afraid the Republican are going to let it pass.

The plan was 400 Billion in tax cuts.

Something that would start working right away.

Well said....the nine may well been consistently against more spending (which the GOP plan would have pushed) . Any consistent opponent of big government would have opposed BOTH plans.
