After the way we were gamed on the first bailout, they will never convince me we should approve another.

They told us they needed a $700 billion influx immediately or the credit markets would collapse. We still have $350 billion of those funds laying around. It’s been months.

The end! No more bailouts.

This current Democrat plan is tantamount to wholesale theft from the treasury of the United States, for political(D) purposes. And I’m afraid the Republican are going to let it pass.

The republicans do not have enough votes to stop it. The Democrats and Obama are trying to put the stimulas as a bipartisan one, so if it fails, which it will, they want the blame to go to both parties. I think the Republicans will stand firm and vote against it, even though they can not stop it.

GOP needs to make a public convincing case on how tax cuts will create jobs. Lacking that it appears like another dollar bailout.
