Good. Far too many of those damn places around anyway. They provide a ‘want’ service anyway.

So instead of four Starbucks on every block there will be only two.

They're going to have an awful lot of coffee left over at the end of the day.

Two things

And where will Springsteen and the rest of the feel good Obama generation go to sell their cd’s exclusively? Oh the horror! Meanwhile...2 brand new Starbucks opened within 4 miles of each other down the street from my house over the last 19 months.

Who’d a thunk it?

$5 coffee doesn’t fare too well in hard times.

Yep, the marketing crew for that company is quite lacking. Looks like they didn’t take the time to do a site survey or whatever to see if multiple Starbucks in a certain area would be profitable.

That’s 300 stores in addition to 600 announced a few months ago.

Fast food chains will continue to take business away from Starbucks. The store closings are only the beginning.

We have two Starbucks nearby. One is in a shopping center and is open 24/7 and is pretty much packed most of the time.

The other is in the street level of an apartment complex and is almost always empty.

We’ll see which store they close.

Actually, their business model was quite effective - unfortunately, it was all predicated on the same myth that lead to many of the housing problems: the myth of “continuous growth.”

“But where will liberals go to work and drink?”

I assume they’ll have to fight the illegals for those types of jobs. Maybe then they too will be screaming for border control and enforcement.

Jay Leno said: “Starbucks goal? To have Americans peeing 24 hours a day”.
