We have two Starbucks nearby. One is in a shopping center and is open 24/7 and is pretty much packed most of the time.

The other is in the street level of an apartment complex and is almost always empty.

We’ll see which store they close.

Around here at least, (Bergen County NJ) they’ve started to open Starbucks inside A &P stores, always near the entrance to the A &P “Fresh” stores—first thing you see when you turn left on entering the store-—these are the superhuge, newly remodelled A&Ps, and there aren’t that many of the other kind left either. So, these Starbucks-within-A&Ps tend to do well—the “baristas” are A&P employees. I’m sure their daily/weekly/monthly “nut” is a lot lower than a stand-alone Starbucks. The one is my town grosses about $700 daily, but it’s got two and a half shifts of two to three people each working at all times—open at least 10 hours daily.
Probably wouldn’t survive as a stand-alone. I very much doubt either of the Bergen Cty. A&P Starbucks will be closing,
since lots of the store employees also treat it as their coffee shop/restaurant within the store. (They’ll bring over pizza from the pizza corner, pre-made sandwiches from the deli, etc.)
