A pending lawsuit says the U.S. owns Formosa and that island residents are non-citizen U.S. nationals. What will Obama do?

The US claim goes back even further ~ to Spain, and from them to Portugal.
China never established a clear claim to the island ~ and for the most part their own history books are blank regarding what was going on out there.
There are a lot of different ways to advance the US claim, including, of course, WWII settlements.

Why, just ignore it. Lawsuits don’t matter (see Presidential Eligibility)
The courts can conveniently dismiss because of standing or political controversy issues.

Is Formosa all of Taiwan or only part? Taiwanese are geniuses. Masters of the motherboard and masters of the laptop. They design develop engineer 90% of all laptops....and used to make most but now also make their laptops in ChiCom land. And sell under Dell Apple HP etc
