It looks like President Obama hasn't gotten acquainted to his White House surroundings. On the way back to the Oval Office Tuesday, the President approached a paned window, instead of the actual door -- located a few feet to his right.

Doors didn't open automatically for Obama’s predecessor either. While making a hasty exit from a 2005 press conference in Beijing, former President George W. Bush tugged on the handles of a door, only to find it locked.

I had a 1 ton Ford Crewcab for about 20 years that several occasions I would finish loading something to the bed of the truck, reach up and grab the door handle, only to find myself trying to climb into the back seat opposed to the drivers seat.

It’s called oops, and look around to see if anybody saw me do something stupid, and if so say something like er...uh...”Just checkin’ to see if the ropes were there, but I guess I don’t need’em anyway heh heh.”

Letterman ran a “great Moments in Presidential Speeches” which he had used to ridicule Bush almost every night for the the last 2 years. This one had OB making some generic good statements. Then Letterman said “See nothing to laugh at.” He won’t show OB in a negative light and went out of his way to continuously make fun of Bush.
