FREEP US Senate: Philabuster to Stop Giethner and Stimulus Package 1-202-224-3121

Slamming through $825 Billion package with $525 Billion in New spending which will include payoffs to Planned Parenthood in the amount of $750 million must be examined.

This entire bill should be read before it is passed to avoid insertion of fairness doctrine, card check, fixing poorly run states budgets, or any other left wing specials.

The Republicans need to know we are fed up with bailouts and spending.

Sure thing - I’ll let my lapdog leftist senators know what I think....so they can laugh all the way to the “YEA” button on the floor.

Its filibuster, not “philabuster”.

Where can you view this? I feel like making myself sick....However, 100 pages!! I’m sure they sneak stuff in there for abortions, gay/lesbians,global warming, government run healthcare, benefits for illegal immigration, welfare, etc.

I guess it’s a “bill” for everything against God and what America stands for!

Well it will last about as long as it takes for Snow, or McCain to jump across the aisle in the spirit of “bipartisanship.”

“Philabuster” is a not-very-well-known menu item at Dairy Queens in Pennsylvania.

Would that be Phineas T. Philabuster?

"Philabuster."

Isn't that what Mayor Wilson Goode dropped on those rowhouses back in '85?

It also includes money to replace the grass at the Washington Mall!!!!!

Who trampled the grass? The 2 million people at NObama’s coronation???

It is winter!! Let the grass recover with spring rains...
Or let the Democrap Party pay for the grass replanting!!!

Ordinary white Americans didn’t do this damage!!

The package also includes more money for school lunches..My local TV station said last week that schools pack 2 lunches for some kids for their use on weekends. They are claiming it is the only “decent meal” the kids get.

When did it become the schools responsibility to feed these kids???
Who is making the decision about what is “decent”??

If the parents are that bad—take the kids away and get them into better homes and sterilize the “parents” who have so miserably failed.

The waste of food in the school cafeterias would feed all the homeless in every town and hamlet in the entire nation.

I didn't get too far before “Block Grants” to Indians housing jumped off the page. That's free housing to people that pay no taxes. These same people get food stamps, welfare, WICC, free schools, and sell cigs for no tax. In the same breath they claim they live in “sovereign land”, they beg for bennies.

Exactly. Anyone who thinks either of these will be defeated by GOP Senators in the current climate is living in a dreamworld.

Just called Sen Chambliss' office and left message. Called Sen Isakson's office and talked to a real human. Isakson does plan to vote NO on Geithner!

And if you haven't taken a look at Sen Isakson's new webpage, you should. Nice and self explanatory. http://isakson.senate.gov/

Some Senators are expecting only a group of around 20 to vote NO. Hopefully it will be twice that and a half more.

It's filibuster, not “philabuster”.

I once met a Phillip Buster. But how he's gonna stop the stimulus package, I don't know.

I’ve contacted BOTH my Senators and my Congressional Rep to tell them Geithner - NO!

It’s 3:50 CST and YOU HAVE a little more than ONE HOUR until they vote.
