The fascinating thing about Limbaugh, for me, is that his take on any subject isn't the same as some of the cookie cutter conservative commentators. There are conserrvative voices I agree with but don't necessarily respect intellectually because they are so damned predictable--I don't listen to them because I know exactly what they're going to say.
Limbaugh has gotten zero respect for his most valuable position, namely, he was the most prominent commentator on the right to regularly attack the Republicans for bailing on conservative positions. He was doing this from the first I heard him (20 years ago).
He often has to explain his positions because people like this writer (?) take the lazy punk's position of twisting his meaning.
Limbaugh hopes Obama fails to implement his (to Limbaugh's point of view...and mine) quasi-socialist agenda. I agree. This writer refuses to see that, is too dumb to listen to Limbaugh's original expansion on the comment, or knows how easy it is to spin what Limbaugh said in a way that delights the left--a way that says the opponents of Obama are Un-American.
The left LOVES that they can get to say that to their opponents now, and it doesn't matter to them that they've been hoping Bush would fail for eight years--they'll unload these silly "pro-America" positions as long as they think they can discredit the opposition.

In addition predicting failure in Iraq every step of the way ,the Iraqis will never be able to hold elections ,to much Violence ,the iraqis will never choose a government ,never write a Constitution ETC.,ETC.

...except on Inauguration day el rushbo was chortling over the fact that the stock market was tanking big time...hate to break up this lovefest, but anybody (especially while reveling in his own wealth) who wishes us to take it on the chin financially, simply to spin a political viewpoint, is hardly heroic in his outlook...
He has set this up such that dissent, disagreement of any kind is considered disloyal to the 0bama administration and then by extension... Disloyal to America and fellow Americans.
It was Ok for the left to be unpatriotic for the last 8 years. It was Ok for them to diss and bash, not only our President...but our very country, countrymen, and military. And while were we critical of their protests etc. we recognized their Right to it. You will not see that reciprocated.
We are going to see a huge push from the leftists to support the 0bama administration and realize we are going to be accused of disloyalty to America if we disagree with the socialist agenda. This is the hard push to accept the “state,” enforce the “state,” and it is fascism.
I too, hope 0bama fails. I am loyal to the Constitution, not the man that is 0bama and not the 0bama agenda. 0bama took an oath to the Constitution and if he fails to uphold that oath of office, then he is a traitor to our Nation.
Therein lies the difference between Limbaugh's love our country vs. 0bama. The 0bamabots have put their loyalty in 0bama, a man and that makes this a dangerous situation.
