Hamas Guilty of Capital War Crimes in Gaza Conflict

by Bill Levinson U.S. Code Title 10, § 950v. “Crimes triable by military commissions” speaks for itself. Hamas is guilty of multiple war crimes, all punishable by death in the United States, during the recent Gaza conflict.

(9) Using protected persons as a shield.— Any person subject to this chapter who positions, or otherwise takes advantage of, a protected person with the intent to shield a military objective from attack, or to shield, favor, or impede military operations, shall be punished, if death results to one or more of the victims, by death or such other punishment as a military commission under this chapter may direct, and, if death does not result to any of the victims, by such punishment, other than death, as a military commission under this chapter may direct.

Yeah, but Hamas’ actions are only a war crime under US law.

And as we all know, under the New Regime, all US laws are subordinate to International Law, which explicitly makes it a crime for Israel to defend itself against rocket attacks.

The middle-east situation will deteriorate quickly. Israel must know that Obama will not support them. I’m not sure if our new Marxist government will overtly undermine the Israeli government or simply be content to let other nations do so. This might be the opportunity for Israel to ‘go it alone’ and finally put an end to all this nonsense.

To successfully end any armed conflict the winner must achieve absolute victory and the loser must suffer absolute defeat. That has been the way of warfare for thousands of years. I can’t think of any one instance in history where appeasement was a winning strategy.
