Fox News Watch’s Cheeky Advice To Olbermann & Co.

Hey Keith: “try to hang onto that gig you’ve got, cause you’re running out of places to work!” That’s a sample of the less-than-reverent advice that Fox News Watch doled out to various members of the MSM this evening. The show took as its inspiration the messages that Pres. Bush left for Pres. Obama and the Bush twins shared with the Obama girls. But the News Watch counsel was considerably cheekier than that of the Bush missives.

To be entirely accurate, whereas Jenna and Barbara’s letter was published in the Wall Street Journal, we don’t know what W wrote to O. But we’ll go out on a limb and assume it was respectful–which is somewhat more than can be said for the suggestions News Watch passed along to the likes of Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Katie Couric and other luminaries of the liberal media.

Host Jon Scott narrated the segment, which included these friendly bits of advice:

Was this not the most amazing thing! Jon Scott is a sentient human being.

I must pay more attention to him in the future.

I was quite surprised to see and hear this, earlier today. Pleasantly surprised. It’s well past time to call out the MSM for their blind adoration of the anointed one and his socialist agenda.

Hope to see much more of this...

Somebody help me - yes, I don’t venture out to MSM very much except for Fox News. Is Keith Olberman a commentator, journalist, talk show host, news reporter, comedian or what??

As hard as it is to believe now, Keith was once worth watching.

Sad, really.

Good! It's about time that Fox News took seriously its responsibility to be the lone big-time newscaster for normal Americans. The Democrat newsrooms (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc.) long ago gave up the "unbiased" charade and are (inexplicably, to be sure) proud of what they are. Fox News needs to be likewise unashamed that it represents the views of normal, hard-working, taxpaying Americans.

OMG That was great! I’m going to have to turn FOX back on. I got sick of watching them suck up to the big “O” but maybe they were just doing it so they could have something entertaining to do for the next 4 years LOL

Olbermann is a former sportscaster. He worked for ESPN Sportscenter with Dan Patrick in the early 90s, then he went over to MSNBC and was the point man on the Monica Lewinsky affair. He went back to Fox Sports briefly before going back to MSNBC. He's a liberal snake in the grass, but to be fair he is a very good sports anchor and knows his history. He co-hosted a special on Yankee Stadium and did a superb job. Sometimes works part-time with the NBC Sports crew (Bob Costas, etc). The Super Bowl is on NBC, he'll be there.
