WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."

That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.

While discussing the stimulus package with top lawmakers in the White House's Roosevelt Room, President Obama shot down a critic with a simple message.

"I won," he said, according to aides who were briefed on the meeting. "I will trump you on that."

As usual the Un-prez hit and run tactic will come back to bit him in the a$$. Rush could fire up his website Saturday and respond but, knowing Rush, he will stock his command center with enough ammo (truth) during the weekend in preparation. His Monday program as well as his website will be something you don't want to miss.

Rush has always said "I will meet with anyone anytime anywhere who wants to hear the truth" and that included Obama. The One who says he "won" has just made his biggest mistake taking on Rush. Rush will pull out ALL the stops Monday and finally unload on him so hard he will never ever recover. The EIB command center led by it's General will neutralize Hussein once again.
