We have discussed both on the dose and privately via freepmail as to what we may do in the future of the dose.

It is suggested that a thread is posted where anyone can post photos or news of George W Bush and if you so wish any other member of his administration as to what they are doing or hope to do in the future and the idea is that this thread will cover January 2009 news and photos as well as being a recap of the last few days of the George W Bush Presidency plus events that took place a few hours afterwards in Texas and for the Vice President in Wyoming.

Enjoy the ongoing Sanity Island for January 2009

The new admin is starting off on a low class look. No class at all.

Fantastic!

Thank you SO much for starting this monthly thread. I predict more and more FReepers will come to it for sanity and an uplift from the dark government realities, as the days wind on. They may just grow in appreciation when they review what a real leader and staunch defender of our country Pres. George W. Bush is.

He’ll always, always be in the forefront of the pursuit of freedom where is there is none and compassion for his fellow man, all over the world.

I’ve been looking for updates on his first day of this “retirement,” but have yet to find any.

I imagine he’s getting his first look at his new home in Preston Hollow. Apparently, there were so many crowds driving around the neighborhood to see it, they had to construct security gates there.

We’ll all be adding to this thread with tidbits, and to continue the enduring interest and respect we have for him and his wonderful family (and missing him .. ;)
