NH Republicans will give Obama a chance [RINO Party alert]

NASHUA, N.H.—New Hampshire Republicans would have rather seen John McCain take the oath of office on Tuesday, but that doesn't mean they won't give President Obama a chance.

Republican adviser Tom Rath said now is not the time for partisan fighting because people are hurting. He said leaders must find common ground and if Republicans disagree with Obama's policies, they can do so without getting nasty.

Former New Hampshire GOP Chairman Fergus Cullen said Obama is his president, too, and certainly doesn't want him to fail.

NH gave us McCain. Which gave us Obama. So it's only appropriate.

The NH GOP is dead. I think Sununu is now the party leader, believe it or not. The elder Sununu, the one who gave us Souter.

He's like 80 or something. Talk about fresh ideas.

No need to send money to republican party headquarters any longer. Large vats of KY jelly will be far more useful.

Or, you could just send them condoms along with a note "GFY" spelled out.

I am a Republican and I did not vote for McCain in the primary, ONLY in the general election.
McCain won the primary because of independents that can vote on either a dem or repub ballot on primary day. Governor Romney had the most republican votes on primary day. I voted for Romney.
By the way what state do you reside in and for whom did you vote for ?

Colorado.

We had caucuses. I was for Romney in the primary and McCain in the general, just like you.

Stupid RNC rules allowed Dems to cross over and vote McCain in some of the primaries. Operation Chaos used against us.

Fergus Cullen is the poster boy for "moderate" Republicans, and espouses a strategy that is doomed to failure. Even after the election he has been advocating a more moderate Republican Party. I'm glad he's on his way out the door.

I see Sununu Sr. coming back more like those situations where the founder of a company comes back to try to save the day. Hopefully he's ready to restore conservative principles and energy to our state party. It sure needs a reboot.

In short order we need a new generation of committed, energetic conservative candidates and party leaders.

I’ve been sitting and searching for over an hour pondering on my state here and trying to type a response here and can come up with nothing. I’ve been back but a few months so I’m just re-learning about the scene, though I’m native born-and-raised (NH). For all effective purposes, this state has gone south (MA).

Check this out- posted Oct 10 and not yet with 500 views:

Dance Dance Rayvolution
Ray Buckley, chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party

You got that? And 467 views. That’s what has happened to NH.

Did you know the newly installed state legislature is the FIRST in the HISTORY of the US (of any such body) to be MAJORITY FEMALE?

I’ve been chewing on that for a while now.

I might try listening here soon:

but I basically listen to what makes for therapy for those in the in the belly of the beast: Howie Carr on WRKO out of Boston 3-7PM weekdays.
